During the month of May, our preschoolers began to discover the magical world of bees, then last week they visited the MadMed honey garden located in the Silos in Dorcol, where they were welcomed by one of the founders, the Belgrade beekeeper David. They had the opportunity to understand first hand the cycle of honey making, to learn about the roles and types of bees in the hive, how they make their nests and why we must respect nature. On their return, the children took part in artistic workshops where they drew and made mosaics of nature with bees, reconstructed and created bee nests in modeling clay and imagined board games around this subject. During the Serbian lessons they all sang songs about bees. Bzzz! Bzzz! Have a look at the video!
