Our 6e, 5e and 4e students took part in teams in the “Les Mots en Or” competition, a French vocabulary contest. Each student’s goal was to spell five words and provide either a definition or a synonym. Eleven teams from different grade levels stepped up in front of our kind and encouraging jury! We hope they enjoyed the experience and that they’ll remember a few words, such as impassible (unshakable), postérité (future generations), or soporifique (sleep-inducing)! A big thank you to them and to our colleagues who graciously took part in the jury!
