Last week, our 2nd students accompanied by Mr. Baresch and Ms. Vesic, traveled to Tunis to take part in the “Débats-toi!” competition, jointly organized by the French School René Descartes in Tunis and the French School Anna de Noailles in Bucharest. After an outstanding day of qualifications, during which both of our teams secured their spots—and the girls’ team particularly stood out by winning all their debates with the highest score—the students had the pleasure of discovering the flavors of Tunisian cuisine. The following day, despite slightly less success, our students proudly represented our school. The final evening was an opportunity to reunite with friends and form new friendships. Finally, the students were delighted to meet Ella, a student from Pierre Mendès France High School and Amelia’s pen pal, whom we will soon have the pleasure of welcoming as part of a school exchange.
