School outings have a specific educational value as they enrich and complement the school curriculum.
School outings that last one day or school trips that last for several days are organized at the teachers’ suggestions, and they are always related to the teaching objectives.
Students acquire new knowledge and skills during school outings and field trips (e.g. classes in the country) , they learn in different ways and become more independent.
School outings are supervised by teachers or other school staff, and/or by authorised parents.
School trips are organized in accordance with the following rules:
- School trips with one or more overnight stays are usually organized on school days, but they can include Saturday or Sunday.
- Parents are required to fill in and sign the authorization forms.
- Students who are not allowed to take part in a school trip must come to school and attend the matching lessons.
